At work

After 16 years as a maths teacher, Tim made the decision to train as a Financial Planner. As our Financial Planning Assistant, Tim provides administration, research and general assistance to enable our financial planning process to run smoothly. He works closely with Dan to assist in the day-to-day running of the company, and also monitors and manages our team members’ workloads to ensure timely completion of work. Tim loves working as part of our friendly team, helping others, the thrill of a new challenge and a chance to learn new things.

At play

Tim is married and has two school-age daughters. Outside work, Tim loves outdoor activities including sports, walking and camping. You can also often find him reading, cooking good food, binge-watching Netflix, enjoying meals with friends, running, and enjoying family days out.

An interview with Tim

On an ideal weekend, you can find me:

"Relaxed time with family, friends and good food."

My favourite holiday destination is:

“The Lake District.”

My favourite song to play in the car is:

“Hey Jude by the Beatles."

The first album I bought was:

“Kylie by Kylie Minogue.”

If I could be any fictional character, I would be:

“Robin Hood. I thought he was awesome as a kid.”

I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a medal in:

“Cleaning the shower down.”

When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:

"Cheese."

The three qualities that draw me to new people are:

“A warm smile, humour, someone with an engaging personality."

My pet peeve is:

“Having to repeat myself multiple times to my daughters!”

The best gift I’ve ever received is:

“My watch for my 18th birthday (I still wear it daily).”

The three people at my dream dinner party would be:

“Jurgen Klopp, Graham Norton, Michael Mcintyre."

The three small things that make my day better are:

“A hug from my girls, blue skies and raiding the biscuit tin."
