At work

Georgie joined Chambers Smith in 2019. As our Financial Administrator, Georgie’s role is to obtain documentation, complete general administration and assist the wider team. Her favourite part of the job is the people she works with and the opportunity to learn new things on a daily basis. Georgie has also been assisting us with new client development for a number of years and will continue in this role going forwards.

At play

Georgie is married to Dan and they have two gorgeous daughters, Nancy and Mabel. In her spare time, Georgie loves spending time with their daughters and dog, baking, socialising, shopping and eating out. You can often find Georgie out walking her beloved dog, Betsy, and spending quality time with family.

An interview with Georgie

On an ideal weekend, you can find me:

“Sleeping in, enjoying a nice brunch, shopping and spending quality time with my husband, daughter and dog.”

My favourite holiday destination is:

“Barbados or New York.”

My favourite song to play in the car is:

“Lauryn Hill – Ex-Factor.”

The first album I bought was:

“Simply Red.”

If I could be any fictional character, I would be:

“Daenerys Targaryen (before the final series).”

I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a medal in:

“Eating bread and chocolate.”

When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:

“Chocolate brownie or treacle sponge.”

The three qualities that draw me to new people are:

“Kindness, humour and authenticity.”

My pet peeve is:

“Mispronouncing things and nail-biting.”

The best gift I’ve ever received is:

“My husband’s wedding proposal and the birth of our beautiful daughter Nancy.”
